Public Safety contains records from the Governor's Foot Guard (.5 linear feet); the regular military (.25 linear feet); fire companies which would eventually form the Hartford Fire Department (8 linear feet); Police reports, manuals, oaths for special policemen, and the Clerk of the Police Court (7.5 linear feet); and related topics (.25 linear feet).
